Large flange blind rivets offer enhanced fastening capabilities for applications involving sheet metal or other substantial materials. The large flanges of these rivets ensure additional clamping force. They are designed with a larger flange diameter to effectively cover oversized or irregularly shaped holes and provide a secure grip for soft materials.
To join two materials, the rivet body is inserted into a pre-drilled hole, then a rivet tool is used to pull the top of the mandrel to expand the body, clamping the two materials together. The force of the rivet tool pops off the mandrel, leaving behind the domed head blind rivet.
Diameter sizes from 2.4 to 4.8mm.
