Grounding blind rivets provide a straightforward and dependable method for grounding a product. The rivets consist of a copper rivet with a brass earthing tab pre attached. The mandrel is usually copper plated steel which ensures that a strong joints is achieved. To help create an effective and electrically conductive joint the tab has sharp tines which bite into the side of a correctly sized hole and help to break paint on pre-coated panels.
The rivets can easily accommodate the grounding conductor, allowing it to be used with standard cable sockets for effortless grounding.
