Bulbtite rivets is a high performance rivet, differing from other rivets, as it features tri-fold design and an EPDM washer. It spreads clamping force through its folded blades while providing excellent pull resistance, making it ideal for refrigerated trucks and secure anchor points.
During the installation process, the rivet body transforms into three individual 'wings' and creates a blind-side upset head. The mandrel of Bulbtite rivets breaks off at the same level as the rivet head. To install these rivets with flush break mandrels, a special installation tool nose tip is needed.
Diameter sizes: 5.2mm, 6.4mm, 7.5mm.
